The contingent met with the senior team at the plant in Panoli, Gujarat, as well as the head offices in Mumbai.

The state-of-the-art facility in Panoli is spread over 127 acres and has a manufacturing capacity of 70,000 MT built in two phases. The phase-1 capacity is 40,000 MT, and the phase-2 capacity is 70,000 MT.

Thomas Bush commented; “the Ascenso plant is one of the most impressive tyre manufacturing sites I have ever visited – the team of people behind the product, the scale of production, the equipment and technology utilised within the plant is second to none. Our trip to India has vindicated all decisions we have made in developing the brand over the last two years, this is truly a market leading product with one of the best teams in the industry.

Ascenso have looked after us incredibly well and our meetings with the Ascenso team and Mr Mahansaria, at their head offices in Mumbai has led to incredibly fruitful discussions for the future development of the brand into next year and beyond.”

Ascenso is an off-highway tyre brand owned and promoted by Mahansaria Tyres Private Limited (MTPL). It is the third such venture by the renowned Mahansaria Family. In their journey of more than three decades, they have built two leading OHT tyre brands with global footprints.
