Attracting crowds of more than 100,000 people and 1000 race entries, Yokohama is proud to return as official tyre partner of The Classic at this year’s event on 26 – 28 August at Silverstone Circuit.
Firmly established as the biggest retro racing festival on the planet, The Classic promises a jam-packed weekend of historic wheel-to-wheel motorsport action with some of the most iconic machines from the 1920s through to the present day, taking to the track.
Yokohama will present an array of notable and iconic vehicles which have played a significant role in its history. On display will be cars such as the Aston Martin Vanquish, a Paddy Hopkirk Classic Mini and a Caterham Graduate. There will also be on-track action with the Yokohama Trophy for Masters Sports Car Legends, as well as the Yokohama Legends display, Yokohama Skills Zone where children up to 15 years of age can hone their football skills and the return of the Yokohama Club Car of the Show award.
Of course, Yokohama will also be exhibiting its latest range of road, race and hobby tyres. Designed with the latest modern tyre technology, these tyres have the style and tread pattern to fit the look of European and Japanese classic and modern classic vehicles from the 1960s through to the 1990s.
