ZC Rubber has announced a new original equipment collaboration with Xiaomi Auto, with the specially developed ARISUN 1 Starselected as an OE tyre for the new Xiaomi SkyNomad N70 five-seat range-extended SUV.
The ARISUN 1 Star in size 245/55R19 will be fitted as original equipment on all 19-inch versions of the Xiaomi SkyNomad N70 Pro and N70 Max.
As a five-seat range-extended SUV, the Xiaomi N70 places particular demands on its tyres due to vehicle weight, range targets and the need for a quiet cabin. Based on ZC Rubber’s Phecda Tech System, the ARISUN 1 Star was optimised across its compound, structure, tread pattern and manufacturing process. The development focused on reducing rolling resistance to support range, lowering tire noise for a quieter cabin, and maintaining ride comfort and grip for both urban commuting and long-distance highway use.
Noise reduction was one of the key development targets. The ARISUN 1 Star uses an array of 24 internal noise-reduction plugs together with a dedicated acoustic chamber to reduce and disperse tread noise. A high-elasticity sidewall and optimised carcass structure are also designed to absorb road impacts and improve overall NVH performance.
To improve efficiency and range, the tyre uses a newly developed low-rolling-resistance rubber compound to reduce energy loss while driving. It is combined with ZC Rubber’s BPOT Technology, which optimises contact pressure distribution and increases the contact area by 5%. This helps promote more even wear and longer tyre life while supporting the N70’s range performance.
Grip and wet-road stability were another key focus. The tire incorporates ZC Rubber’s Hybrid Formula 3.0 to enhance grip on both dry and wet surfaces. Its optimised drainage grooves help channel water away from the contact patch more efficiently, supporting braking and cornering stability in wet conditions.

The Xiaomi SkyNomad N70 project marks another step in ZC Rubber’s continued expansion in OE applications for electrified vehicles. The company will continue to strengthen cooperation with vehicle manufacturers and develop tyre solutions tailored to evolving vehicle requirements.
