Autogem Wins TyreSafe Innovation and Technology Award

Autogem commitment to road safety and TPMS maintenance has been honoured with a prestigious TyreSafe Award for Innovation & Technology.

The accolade acknowledges the company’s pioneering approach to training and technician development, with judges praising the company’s ability to bridge the gap between increasingly sophisticated vehicle systems and the people responsible for maintaining them.

Central to the success was Autogem’s flagship ‘Under Pressure’ competition, a standard-raising event for technicians, along with its training platform which has transformed how they understand, diagnose and communicate the importance of TPMS.

The TyreSafe judging panel described the programme as a ‘continuous learning ecosystem’ and praised Autogem for turning regulatory compliance into ‘an inspiring, high-profile arena for technician empowerment’, helping to raise standards across the aftermarket and deliver safer outcomes for millions of motorists.

In 2025, Under Pressure attracted engagement from more than 1,000 retail sites, while Autogem’s expanding digital Knowledge Hub has already helped train more than 1,600 industry professionals, delivering over 13,000 hours of learning through a series of flexible, bite-sized courses.

Prashant Chopra, Managing Director of Autogem, said the award reflected the company’s belief that innovation is about far more than simply supplying products.

“We’ve always believed that our role extends far beyond selling products in isolation,” he said. “At Autogem, we’re passionate about advising, educating and supporting workshops, and we’re proud to work with some of the most safety-conscious technicians in the country who share that same mindset. We know that not every motorist checks their tyres or understands the importance of TPMS technology, which makes it even more important that workshops are equipped to go the extra mile on behalf of their customers.”

“Through Under Pressure and our wider training initiatives, we’re empowering technicians to do an even better job in the name of road safety, and that’s something we’re incredibly proud of. To receive this recognition from TyreSafe is particularly special because it validates our approach and demonstrates that innovation isn’t just about technology; it’s about people, knowledge and creating safer outcomes for everyone who uses our roads.”

The TyreSafe judges noted that true innovation is defined not only by technology, but by the people empowered to use it, highlighting Autogem’s ability to transform technician engagement and raise standards across the industry.
