GB Tyres has announced that it has opened two new wholesale depot locations to expand its regional stockholding and distribution. The new depots are located at: Saxham Industrial Estate, Saxham, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP28 6RZ and Unit 3, Carrongrove Business Park, Carrongrove, Falkirk FK2 8NZ
The two depots provide a combined floor area of over 60,000 square feet, giving GB Tyres significantly greater holding capacity for commercial and specialist ranges. The enlarged footprint will initially support regional delivery operations and a fleet of local delivery vehicles while allowing the business to increase stock depth across its wholesale ranges.
Depot Purpose and Stock
The new facilities are dedicated to GB Tyres’ wholesale ranges, including truck, coach, van, light and heavy commercial, agricultural, construction, industrial, turf, ATV and OTR tyres. The expanded regional stockholding means customers will be able to source a wider selection of sizes and specifications from nearer depots, reducing lead times and improving availability for urgent and planned requirements.
Operational Capacity and Regional Coverage
The combined capacity of the two depots is 60 sq ft and will enable GB Tyres to serve an extended trading area more effectively. From Bury St Edmunds the company will strengthen coverage across East Anglia and the A14 logistics corridor, while the Falkirk depot will improve service to central and northern Scotland and the M8 corridor. The additional space will allow deeper in‑stock levels for high‑demand commercial and specialist lines and will support regional delivery rotations and account servicing.
