Giti Tire at The Tire Cologne 2026

Giti Tire’s message to its partners at The Tire Cologne 2026 is Stay Connected, with OEM placements, sustainability, new products and motorsport all being showcased.

Over the course of the next 12 months the manufacturer is due to make several high-profile OEM nomination announcements, and on stand will be three vehicles of which one will introduce the manufacturer’s first OE mass-market sustainable passenger car tyre.

Centred around its second successive Ecovadis Platinum accreditation, which places the company among the top 1% of businesses assessed globally for sustainability performance, Giti Tire will also focus on the circular economy and its steps to reduce its global footprint.

With an additional focus on tyre innovation, it will display its 93% sustainable material composition tyre in Europe for the first time alongside further prototype models for passenger car, truck and bus markets and racing.

In the passenger car segment several recent launches will make their Tire Cologne debut including the GitiSportS2+, which received an ‘exemplary’ rating in the new AutoBild 2026 Summer Tyre Test, as well as the GitiSynergyH2+, GT Radial SportActive 2 evo and GT Radial FE2 evo.

A selection of summer, all-season and winter light truck tyres from both brands will also be on show.

In the truck and bus market the full Ecoroad range will be unveiled, in which all tyres represent the very first to be introduced into Europe with an ‘A’ rated Rolling Resistance Coefficient (RRC).

And for motorsport the manufacturer will display the GitiSport eGTR2 Pro, which was used on the word-record setting Yangwang U9X electric hypercar that achieved a world-record top speed of 496.22 km/h (308.34 mph) in September 2025.

The move is again designed to highlight the manufacturer’s move towards increasing sustainability in motorsport, which includes all vehicles involved in the ADAC RAVENOL 24-hour Nürburgring race and British Truck Racing Championship (BTRC) in Europe.
