Autoway, Davanti Tyres’ Japanese customer, has appointed racing driver Nanami Tsukamoto as brand ambassador in Japan.
Known as Japan’s only “triple-threat racing driver” – competing in circuit racing, rallying, and drifting – Nanami will be participating in the 2026 Super Taikyu, Japan’s premier endurance racing championship. She will represent the Davanti brand with logo placement on her racing suit and competing car.
Off the track, Nanami is also representing Davanti in Bandai Namco’s Drift Spirits mobile game. As their 7th anniversary ambassador, Nanami will appear in the game alongside the Davanti logo and Davanti tyres, promoting the brand to a whole new audience of gamers and virtual car enthusiasts.
Nanami is passionate about making racing more accessible for aspiring drivers and champions Davanti’s Protoura Race as an affordable race tyre that gets results.
She said: “I want to increase the number of opportunities to drive. Many people hesitate due to the cost, but Davanti helps lower that barrier.”
Commenting on the tyres, she said: “The feeling of security when the tyres grip the road firmly and the response when turning the steering wheel were clear. The car was stable when accelerating and cornering and even if it started to slip, it was easily communicated to the driver, making it easy to control.”
Mr. Tanaka from Autoway commented on the partnership: “We are thrilled to have Nanami representing the Davanti brand in Japan. She is a huge name in motorsport and one of the most media-visible drivers of today, so it’s a fantastic result to have her supporting Davanti and the Protoura Race tyres.”
