Successful Competition Debuts for Four New Nova Motorsport Brand Tyres

Nova Motorsport has announced the successful competition debut of its first four tyres created at its newly refurbished manufacturing centre in Portugal. The Nova ACB11, M+S, ZZR RX and DG1 AX products have been proven on circuits in the pan-European RallyX championship, French Autocross, French Rallycross, Portuguese and Norwegian championships.

The tyres have performed faultlessly in the ultra-tough environments of Rallycross and Auto-Cross. The mixed surfaces, wheel-to-wheel action and sideways driving style seen across both disciplines serve as a ultra-demanding proving ground for high performance competition tyres, leaving no margin for error.

Nova Motorsport signed multi-year tyre supply partnerships with RallyX, French Rallycross (RX) Championship (FFSA Championnat De France Rallycross) and the French Autocross Championship, incorporating the OFAC Organisation Francaise Autocross & Sprintcar and Championnat de France d’Auto-Cross & Sprint Car FFSA series for 2025.

The brand will ensure the supply of new Nova ACB11, M+S, DG1 AX and ZZR RX products, which have been developed based on proven Cooper Tire constructions, compounds and patterns bolstered by new R&D and an increased focus on sustainability. Comprehensive testing of the first Nova Motorsport Rallycross and Auto-Cross tyres produced at the brand’s newly refurbished manufacturing centre in Portugal commenced in Autumn, 2024.

Matthew Vincent, Nova Motorsport Senior Product Category Manager, commented: “Rallycross represents a key pillar of Nova Motorsport’s ambitious growth strategy, and our new multi-year supply partnership with French Rallycross Championship sits alongside our support of the European-wide RallyX championship and furthers Nova Motorsport’s strategic commitment to the sport of rallycross at all levels globally.

Nova Motorsport is here to support the differing needs of the series across the world, in providing premium, high performance competition tyres, which help them deliver the championship that they envision for their competitors and teams.”

Nova Motorsport is licensed to utilise the assets and IP formerly used in the construction of Cooper Tire products, which enables it to build further upon the extraordinary legacy established by the Cooper Tire company, which supplied the French Rallycross series from 2013 to 2024 and RallyX from its inception in 2014. 10 World Rallycross Championships and 20 European titles have been won on the ACB11 tyre.
