Bridgestone will supply “BATTLAX SPORT TOURING T32” as original equipment for the new sport touring models TRACER9, TRACER9 GT, and TRACER9 GT+ released by Yamaha Motor.
The TRACER9, TRACER9 GT, and TRACER9 GT+ are sport touring models that combine high sports performance with practical functionality. Notably, the TRACER9 GT+, the flagship model in Yamaha Motor’s touring category, is newly equipped with an automatic transmission Y-AMT (Yamaha Automated Transmission) that eliminates the need for clutch lever and shift pedal operations. Additionally, it features ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) that allows for following the vehicle ahead, significantly reducing the operational burden and making the ride more comfortable as a sports tourer.
Through long-term co-creation with Yamaha Motor, Bridgestone has contributed to the realisation of the value Yamaha Motor offers through various vehicles by developing and equipping tyres. The BATTLAX SPORT TOURING T32, supplied as original equipment on the TRACER9, TRACER9 GT, and TRACER9 GT+, are Dan-Totsu products that leverage Bridgestone advanced tyre technologies to enhance the Tracer9 lineup’s performance. By increasing the adhesive area across the entire contact surface, they ensure reliable grip. Additionally, the adoption of “Pulse Groove” enhances water drainage, stabilising the contact area and improving wet traction performance. Furthermore, by optimising the internal structure, we have enhanced the sense of grip on various road surfaces, whether dry or wet, improving the stability and wear resistance required for long touring, and contributing to the model’s performance in cornering through improved grip.
