Totalkare is pleased to announce its return to the Commercial Vehicle Show in 2022, where it will have its largest ever presence at an industry event.
Last year saw the welcome return of the CV Show following a year’s break due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After enjoying a successful three days meeting new and existing customers, Totalkare is increasing its stand space at this year’s event (held 24-26 May at Birmingham NEC) to accommodate a raft of exciting new additions to its portfolio, alongside some old favourites.
New for 2022 will be Totalkare’s Y-MECH Lift, Class 7 MOT Bay equipment, wheel alignment, tyre changers, compressors, scissor tables and hydraulic presses. In addition, the Company will also be showcasing it’s market-leading mobile column lifts, mobile and in-ground brake testers, headlamp testers, smoke meters, air conditioning service units and essential workshop equipment including support stands, transmission jacks and trolley jacks. All of this will be on display at Totalkare stand at 4C10.
Y-MECH Lift
Following its introduction last year, Totalkare’s heavy duty Y-MECH Lift is set to be the star of the show. Available in weight capacities ranging from 25,000kg to 35,000kg with platform length options from 6m – 13m, the Y-MECH is the largest vehicle lift in Totalkare’s product portfolio and is already being used by the likes of Crouch Recovery, Greenhous DAF and Thomas Hardie Commercials. The latter is using galvanised versions of the Y-MECH Lift for outdoor wash bay use. The model on display at the CV Show will be a 9-metre, 25,000kg capacity lift.
Class 7 MOT Bay equipment
While Totalkare has exhibited its light commercial hydraulic Four Post Lift previously, the Company’s expansion into the Class 7 MOT Bay market means the lift will be displayed again alongside other equipment including petrol & diesel emissions analyser, headlamp tester, vehicle inspection pit, in-ground brake tester and more.
Totalkare can supply all equipment required for a new Class 7 MOT Bay or upgrade the equipment in an existing one if required and will support customers through the process of design and DVSA application through to installation, training and providing aftersales service support.
Brake testing equipment
Totalkare has established itself as a major supplier of brake tester equipment in the UK since introducing its DVSA-approved mobile and in-ground brake testers to its product portfolio in 2019. Both models are supplied with cabinet, computer, monitor, printer and a handheld tablet unit that enables easy brake testing from the comfort of the driver’s seat of the vehicle.
Vehicle Inspection Pit
Often going hand-in-hand with Totalkare’s in-ground brake testing and wheel play detection equipment, Totalkare’s high quality, pre-fabricated steel inspection pits are made to order and installed by experienced engineers. Standard pit lengths range from 6-16m but they can be made bespoke to workshop requirements.
Mobile column lifts
Totalkare’s T8 range of mobile column lifts are the UK’s favourite! Lifting 7,500kg per column and configurable in sets of four, six or eight, the lifts are the perfect solution for workshops where flexibility is key. The T8 is available in cable-free and cabled models and both feature adjustable forks to accommodate a range of wheel diameters for added versatility.
Alongside the T8 range is Totalkare’s G8AC wash bay column lift. Fully galvanised with sealed bearings which provides long term protection from water ingress, the G8AC is the only truly fit-for-purpose mobile column lift for under chassis washing in the UK and popular with commercial vehicle and bus & coach operators alike.
Wheel alignment
Vehicles whose wheels are not properly aligned cost money through diminished fuel economy and excessive wear and tear on tyres. Totalkare’s electronic wheel alignment products enable checks to be carried out in-house more regularly, providing alignment readings up to 18-metres. Its easy-to-use computer system and quick operating time allows checks to be performed in a matter of minutes.
Tyre changers
The newest addition to Totalkare’s product portfolio, the NAV101 commercial tyre changer is capable of dismounting and mounting a tyre in just 30 seconds. It features adjustable arm positioning, a 4-roller system and bead breakers supported by two arms which are separately controlled.
Compressors
Another product range new for 2022, Totalkare’s air compressors are ideal for garages, tyre centres and engineering workshops. They feature simple stop-start-run on timer operation and compared to older models can help increase air flow by 15% while reducing energy consumption by up to 12%.
For workshop equipment, it’s Totalkare!
While Totalkare’s stand at the CV Show will be dominated by its vehicle lifting and brake testing equipment, the Company’s rapidly expanding range of essential workshop equipment will also be on display, including air conditioning service units, hydraulic presses, wheel dollies, trolley jacks, support stands, trailer beams and transmission jacks.

Available to listen on Spotify, Apple, Google podcasts and a range of other platforms, recent podcasts have looked at the topics of shaker plates, fixed vehicle lifts, oil management, brake testers and how the current super deduction incentive can help workshops to purchase important equipment with additional tax relief.
