As one of the European tyre industry’s most progressive and fastest growing manufacturers of quality OTR, Industrial and Mining tyres, Netherlands based, family owned Magna Tyres returned to The Tire Cologne show last month with a determined agenda to meet once more, with their growing worldwide customer base.
Stephan van Leeuwen, Magna’s Sales Director (Original Equipment) says, “We have always considered international tyre shows as a strong priority to meet new companies and obtain new sales leads so being at a ‘live’ show’ once more is a very positive move forward again.”
With an experienced team of ten sales specialists on the booth, Stephan’s main objective was to provide a powerful presentation to the global tyre market on Magna’s extensive product base and how the company has continued to grow (even through the last couple of years due to Covid). Stephan adds, “We invested in a new 58,000 sq mtr warehouse facility in 2020 which has enabled Magna to become even stronger as a leading international tyre producer and supplier.
“At the same time, we have been active in the acquisition market buying several companies with businesses that have significantly helped Magna further increase its market position in products and services. The company particularly specialise in OTR and Industrial tyres but also offer a popular range of special radial truck tyres for the global mining industry and Port Handling tyres for the Port and Shipping industry.”
Magna also produce a series of solid tyres for the waste and recycling markets along with mobile high speed crane tyres.
With offices and warehouses already established in a number of countries including North America, Australia, Middle East, South Africa, India and Europe. Magna viewed exhibiting at the show as an important ‘stepping stone’ towards becoming a truly global enterprise in the future with long term trading partnerships and they will be also further increase their current product ranges with additional sizes and patterns in due course.
