Kwik Fit has revealed that the final total from its 2026 Charity Golf Day has broken its fundraising record, with the event raising just over £101,000 for Air Ambulances UK. This is the sixth Charity Golf Day which Kwik Fit has hosted in this format, and the amount raised has grown every year. Even so, the organisers were astonished to see the event achieve an increase of over 25% on last year’s total.
Air Ambulances UK supports all 21 air ambulance charities across the country. It has confirmed that the record-breaking total means that the Kwik Fit Golf Day is now the charity’s largest single fundraising event of the year.
This year’s event was held at Woburn Golf Club on the famous Marquess course, with over 80 participants. The players were a mix of employees from Kwik Fit’s industry partners, fleet customers and their guests, as well as representatives from Kwik Fit’s parent company European Tyre Enterprise Ltd (ETEL).
A putting and chipping clinic was provided on the day by ex-European Tour champion Andrew Murray, who also took on the field in a Beat the Pro Challenge hole. Many prizes were donated and won on the day, although unfortunately for the players, no-one was able to claim the BMW on offer for a hole in one.

Air ambulances in the UK are almost entirely reliant on donations to support their operations. As a result, events like the Kwik Fit Golf Day are crucial to their work in delivering lifesaving care.”
