Hamaton Ltd – the European headquarters of leading TPMS product manufacturer Hamaton Automotive Technology Co., Ltd – is proud to announce the establishment of a new distribution centre in Willich, Germany.
Complementing offices in Poland, Hamaton GmbH will provide sales and technical support, not to mention vital distribution resources at the heart of Western Europe and within Europe’s largest automotive market.
The new site marks a significant step in its European expansion strategy – something the company had hoped to execute in early 2020 (before changes to the UK’s trading relationship with the EU). However, restrictions caused by the global pandemic forced Hamaton to put this on hold.
The new site is conveniently located near the motorway and is just a twenty-minute drive from Düsseldorf International Airport. Furthermore, the property possesses a large office and significant warehouse space, which will future-proof its European stock requirements for the foreseeable future.
Catharina Lunemann, who has worked for Hamaton since it opened in the UK, will assume the role of General Manager. Catharina began her career at Hamaton as Head of Marketing before transitioning to Business Development Manager for DACH, Benelux and Denmark.
Catharina’s success in building a loyal customer base was fundamental to the company’s growth in her regions of responsibility. In her new position, Catharina will continue to oversee her current customer accounts while searching for new business opportunities. Additionally, a team that includes office and warehouse personnel will assist Catharina in delivering German-speaking customer support.
Hamaton Ltd has also made various appointments, including field-based sales and technical support for the French, Spanish and North African markets since being named the company’s Centre of Excellence. Consequently, Hamaton Ltd will provide in-house business support (e.g., accounting, marketing and technical) to all Hamaton locations worldwide.
