Colin Creasey Joins BA Bush & Son’s Agricultural Trade Team

As part of the company’s ongoing growth, Colin Creasey has become the latest name in the tyre industry to join BA Bush & Son.

As a long-standing member of the tyre world, Colin brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience with over 40 years in the tyre industry under his belt.

Having started his career working for Fossitt & Thorne back in 1978, Colin has worked in the tyre industry ever since. He was in his most recent role within the tyre trade for 21 years and before that he ran his own tyre company, Colin Creasey Tyres, for 16 years supplying car, truck and agricultural tyres.

Colin specialises in the agricultural tyre sector, from farm implement tyres to lawn and turf tyres. At BA Bush, Colin will join the growing BAB Distribution trade team at the new 70,000 square foot Boston Warehouse to help bolster the BAB Agricultural tyre trade, as well as the Original Equipment (OE) department, helping with speciality OE2.

Colin will also work closely with the purchasing team to find new brands and products to further expand BA Bush & Son’s current offering.

With BA Bush having announced this year that they are the exclusive UK distributers of Ascenso tyres, Colin will also work along Matt Smith to help him with the Ascenso Tyres UK growth project.

“We are thrilled to welcome Colin to the BA Bush team, we look forward to working with him and utilising his vast knowledge and experience within the agricultural tyre industry. He will be a great addition to our trade team.” – Tom Bush, Director at BA Bush & Son

“I am very pleased to be part of this new challenge at BAB, there are many exiting projects to be involved with and I look forward to strengthening the company’s success.”  – Colin Creasey

Having recently opened a new Bush Tyres branch in Catterick, North Yorkshire and a new acquisition in Rotherham of Allround Tyres, BA Bush & Son are very much on the way up. BA Bush have invested heavily across all product stock throughout 2020 and 2021, investing an additional £1.5m more in agricultural radial tyres this year, compared to last year. This has not only reinforced their trade channel but also mitigated against some of the availability issues that others in the industry are suffering with currently. Now is an exciting time to be a part of BA Bush & Son!
